Ciao Italia

Today we drove 5 hours from the lovely Italy to the stunning Salzburg, Austria. After spending the last 6 days in Italy we were just getting used to walking into a shop, speaking italian and leaving with the shop keeper knowing a bit of english. Our first impressions of Austria are great, we think we are going to love it here! But before we move on here´s our experience of Italy in a nutshell....

* Italians LOVE nutella

* The rumors are true, Italians make the BEST pizza, pasta and gelati!

* The people are beautiful, even their dogs are good looking!!
* They like being paid the exact amount (if its €5.91 they want the one cent!)
* Free water is awesome, but €1.50 to pee sucks!

* Always look to the left not right before crossing the road.
* An Italian breakfast is an assortment of cakes and bread, with nutella.
* Their seagulls are gigantic.
* There are lots of gift shops
* Kylie loves Gondolas even more now, since being in Italy!

We are about to spend our first night in Austria. Salzburg is probably one of the smallest cities we are visiting and they have lots of Christmas markets full of interesting food and drink and christmassy gifts and gadgets.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words, emails and messages so far, we really appreciate it! Thanks for being so happy for us, it means a lot to us that so many share our joy.

Ciao for now...... Gutentaggen.
