The hills are alive.. with the sound of music..

Hey!! Sorry for the lack of updates. We are finding it pretty hard to get online while on tour as the net over here is quite slow or very expensive to use!! Thanks again for all your lovely messages!!!

So we made it to Austria! Home of the Sound of Music, Mozart, Apple Struddel and the terminator. We had 2 nights in Salzburg and one night in Vienna. Salzburg was a very beautiful, relaxed and friendly city to visit. It was very easy to get around. So we both had some quality Clintylie time walking around taking in the sights and sounds. The christmas markets are now in full force & we spent a lot of the day looking at them and enjoying the christmas festivities!!

We had heard about GluWein so we thought we'd give it a crack! It's basically warm red wine with cinamon, sounds nice but man that was something else!! One cup was way too much for us!!

Vienna had some great things to see and we were amazed at how much history and the changes the city had been through. We saw the natural museum and relaxed in the imperial palaces gardens which was huge!!

We saw Wes Carr in Salzburg too! What the???

We found a comic book shop that had a spider man crawling on the wall out the front and a life size Yoda inside. The shop was run by a real life Austrian "comic book guy". Kylie got to hang down at Fraggle rock!

For dinner in Vienna, Austria we went to a Taiwanese Vegetarian Restaraunt. Whatever we had it was yummy!! Our waitress was asian and spoke german and served us the pictures we pointed at!!

So this is the halfway point of of our topdeck tour so we had a quiet one in the hostel doing our laundry. I've also managed to wear my boardies more often than my long pants. The weather here is perfect!!
